We read your floor plan against how the body actually works. You get a clear diagnosis and a new plan you can act on.

What we look at

Light

A living room that never sees morning sun keeps you flat when you need to be sharp. We read exactly what your plan is doing to you.

Air

Poor ventilation is invisible until you notice you are sleeping badly, waking foggy or always too hot. We look at where air moves through your plan and where it does not.

Nature

The goal of a home is to get you outside. We look at whether your plan earns that or works against it.

Room sequence

How the plan flows. Where you wake, where you work, where you recover. Whether the layout supports the way you actually live.

    Whatever you have. A PDF, a listing plan, a scan or a sketch. A site plan and the north point help us read the light. We confirm your fixed fee and the review begins.

    Design workshop

    We walk through your plan together. How you wake, work, eat and recover. This is where we learn how you actually want to live.

    Diagnosis and new floor plan

    We test your plan against light, air, nature and room sequence. Then we redraw it. Annotated drawings show every change and the reason for it.

    Presentation of findings

    We present the diagnosis and your new floor plan and answer every question. You walk away with a clear direction to take to your builder, designer or agent.

What do I need to send?
Whatever you have. A PDF from your builder or designer, an agent's listing plan, a scan or a measured sketch. A site plan and the north point help. You do not need anything ready to book the call.
I am buying. Can you review a listing?
Yes. Send the listing link and the agent's floor plan. You get a clear read on how the home will live before you commit to it.
Do you work outside Australia?
Yes. The call, the workshop and the presentation all run on Zoom. We work with clients internationally.
How long does it take?
Typically 3 to 4 weeks from start to finish.
What do I do with the new plan?
You take it to your builder, designer or agent as a clear brief. If you want us to carry it further into a full design, ask about House of Light Concept Design on your call.
